Five children of UN ambassadors from around the world are called by earth to imagine a new sustainable future for our global society. The 9-year olds are playing happily with an earth ball, unaware of threats to our global systems. They discover a magic portal and before them appears a dark ominous sphere - the earth's center. Their goal is to work together to reduce the global carbon footprint. Through the tangible carbon savings displayed on an earth counter, the children become more encouraged and enthusiastic about achieving their goal. Earth systems have already reached an urgent tipping point and only a global response to halt the ongoing destruction and degradation of natural environments will avoid an irreversible climate crisis. The essence of the film is about envisioning a positive sustainable future through our most prized assets - children.
