The 81 series of light amber (warming) color temperature conversion filters decrease color temperatures and create a warming effect reducing blue casts. They are accordingly often known as light balancing rather than conversion filters. The filter is also available in 85mm, 150mm and 165mm sizes. Hitech filters are made from the highest quality 1.5mm optical resin.
- These filters are used for subtle changes in color balance than the 85 series.
- The 81a decreases color temperature from 3400k to 3200k.
- This 100mm filter is usable with Hitech 100mm holder systems or any 100mm (4-Inch) holder.
